I often demonstrate to users what they can do with all the Office 365 Apps and when showing Power Automate – which allows for porting a business workflow into digital in no time – I often see a fear of not being able to grasp the skills required. Although it’s clear that upskilling is essential.

To get started with Power Automate one does not need any complex understanding of workflow logic or code to write. Although Power Automate is definitely a powerful advanced app where complex logic can be built, it can also accomplish a simple task quickly with little effort.

Here is a short example of building automation to receive a reminder before a calendar event occurs. No code and very little manual added objects than the default feature now available from a SharePoint list.
