During one of my coaching sessions, I had an interesting scenario from a user. They have thousands of items in a SharePoint list and when one item is deleted, for instance, because the item is no longer in their catalogue, they wanted to keep an archive of that item, either before or after deletion.
Further discussion with the user, I realised that the scenario was just not being taken from the right angle. Instead of telling users to delete, they should make them change metadata and then do the expected process in the backend… via Power Automate.
